ABOUT THE GAME
Dominoes Classic Duel game overview
A classic set of 28 dominoes is divided between two players, with seven tiles dealt to each and the remainder kept in reserve. The holder of double six begins by placing it. Later tiles must connect an equal number of dots to an open chain end. The duel can be played against a computer-controlled or online opponent. Every placement changes the numbers available for the next move, while the reserve supplies tiles when the hand cannot continue the chain. Emptying the hand or resolving a blocked layout determines the contest under the documented classic rules.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Before you start
Turns are spent checking both exposed chain ends, comparing them with the seven-tile hand, selecting a legal match, and anticipating which pip count the opponent may return.
GETTING STARTED
How to play Dominoes Classic Duel
Start with double six when it is in the opening hand. On later turns, choose a domino whose half matches either available end and place the matching side against it.
Draw from the reserve when no legal tile can be played. Preserve flexible pieces carrying common numbers so the hand can respond to more possible chain endings.
