ABOUT THE GAME
Dungeon Chess game overview
A hand of cards determines which chess movement is available on the next turn. Selecting a rook, bishop, knight, or another figure changes the squares the hero can legally reach, turning enemy placement into a compact tactical problem. A strong move can attack a threat or create space; a careless landing may expose the hero immediately. Cleared encounters advance the run through further dungeon challenges and roguelike decisions. Because the offered cards constrain each turn, the route cannot be planned as ordinary free movement. Survival depends on using the current pattern efficiently, preserving health, and recognizing which enemy must be addressed before the board becomes crowded.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Before you start
Turns alternate between reading the dungeon board, inspecting the available chess cards, and choosing a legal destination that improves the hero's position or removes a threat.
GETTING STARTED
How to play Dungeon Chess
Select a card and examine the squares reachable by that chess figure. Compare those destinations with enemy attack positions before committing the hero.
Press the intended square to make the move, then reassess the changed board. Clear the room while avoiding trades that consume more health than the remaining dungeon route permits.
CONTROLS

Tips for Dungeon Chess
- Check every landing square for an immediate enemy counterattack before selecting it.
- Use long-range movement cards to escape crowded corners, not only to attack.
- Remove the enemy restricting the most squares before chasing a distant target.
