ABOUT THE GAME
Fragile Balance game overview
A narrow platform supports every brick placed in Fragile Balance. Blocks arrive one at a time, and a press releases the current piece onto the structure below. Because the support reacts to weight and position, a tower that looks stable can begin leaning after one poorly centered addition. Height is the goal, but balance determines how long the construction survives. Early pieces establish the footprint for everything that follows; later drops must account for gaps, overhangs, and any existing tilt. The attempt ends when the assembled stack collapses instead of remaining on the platform.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Before you start
The play loop is deliberately compact: judge the tower's center, release one brick, watch the physics settle, and choose the next landing point from the new shape of the stack.
GETTING STARTED
How to play Fragile Balance
Before releasing a block, compare its projected landing spot with the platform's midpoint and the weight already placed on both sides. A broad, level base gives later pieces more usable space.
Allow each impact to finish moving the structure before committing the following brick. If the tower leans, use the next placement as a measured counterweight rather than extending the overhang.
CONTROLS
Controls and device setup
Release a brick by left-clicking once; on mobile, touch the screen to drop it from the current position.

Tips for Fragile Balance
- Build the first three bricks close together to create a dependable central foundation.
- Correct a slight lean with a small offset, not a dramatic block on the opposite edge.
- Wait for wobbling to stop because a moving tower can shift the next landing.
