ABOUT THE GAME
Line & Dots game overview
From the beginning of the round, Line & Dots is a set of compact spatial puzzles with one strict drawing rule. All dots must belong to a single continuous stroke. A controlled attempt should help you connect every dot in the current puzzle with one continuous line. Study the arrangement, choose a starting point, and trace a route that reaches each dot without breaking the line. Completing the diagram advances to another layout. As the run develops, a series of logic mini-puzzles introduces new spatial arrangements. An invalid route leaves dots unconnected, so the puzzle must be redrawn.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Before you start
The difficult choice often happens before drawing begins. Starting from the wrong dot can create a stranded endpoint even when most of the route looks correct.
GETTING STARTED
How to play Line & Dots
Count the connections around edge and corner dots before choosing a start. Drag slowly through the intended sequence without lifting the pointer.
If one dot becomes isolated, release and rethink the route from its endpoints. A fresh ordering is more useful than forcing the final segment. Use this strategy to support the later result: A series of logic mini-puzzles introduces new spatial arrangements.
CONTROLS
Controls and device setup
Begin on one dot, keep the mouse button held while tracing, or maintain finger contact across a touchscreen.
PLAY SMARTER
Tips for Line & Dots
- Consider dots with few approach directions before choosing the starting point.
- Trace the route mentally once so the continuous drag stays deliberate.
- Restart early when a partial line traps an unreachable dot outside it.
