ABOUT THE GAME

MechLoop game overview

MechLoop treats the keyboard itself as part of each puzzle. A room may begin like a straightforward platform stage, then reveal that familiar directions no longer produce the expected movement. Reaching a button can remove a wall, but the route to that button must be understood under the current control rule. Every cleared chamber introduces another arrangement of platforms, barriers, and mechanical surprises. Progress depends on observing the result of a cautious input and adapting, not on charging through a memorized route. Falling into a hazard or becoming trapped forces another attempt at the current layout rather than changing the puzzle's solution.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Before you start

Rooms are short but deceptive: test a direction, learn how the character responds, locate the switch that changes the environment, and then use the opened path to leave.

GETTING STARTED

How to play MechLoop

Begin a new room with a single deliberate key press so you can identify whether the directions have been altered. Use safe ground for that experiment instead of testing beside an edge.

Work toward the visible button, trigger it to remove the blocking wall, and reconsider the return path after the layout changes. Reach the exit without assuming the next chamber uses the same movement behavior.

CONTROLS

Controls and device setup

Use the Arrow keys to move; their directional effect can change between puzzle rooms.

Tips for MechLoop

  1. Test one arrow at a time whenever a new control rule appears.
  2. Plan both the approach and departure before pressing a wall switch.
  3. Use broad platforms to confirm reversed directions away from dangerous edges.
