ABOUT THE GAME

Paper.IO 2 game overview

Each character begins on a small island and claims more arena space by leaving its color, drawing a loop, and returning. Since a larger loop gains more territory but leaves the exposed tail vulnerable for longer, the aim is to capture territory while cutting opponents' exposed trails and protecting your own. An opponent touching the exposed tail defeats the player before the loop closes. Every completed loop adds new area to the player's island and increases control of the arena. The enclosed area becomes part of the player's safe turf through closing the loop, expanding territory, and watching nearby enemy trails, which follows leaving owned ground along a route short enough to defend.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Before you start

A larger loop gains more territory but leaves the exposed tail vulnerable for longer. In response, the player alternates leaving owned ground along a route short enough to defend with closing the loop, expanding territory, and watching nearby enemy trails; the enclosed area becomes part of the player's safe turf.

GETTING STARTED

How to play Paper.IO 2

Make the first step by leaving owned ground along a route short enough to defend. A larger loop gains more territory but leaves the exposed tail vulnerable for longer. Keep working toward this goal: capture territory while cutting opponents' exposed trails and protecting your own.

Put the decision into practice through closing the loop, expanding territory, and watching nearby enemy trails. Every completed loop adds new area to the player's island and increases control of the arena.
