ABOUT THE GAME
Rebel Wings game overview
A combat ship flies through side-scrolling enemy formations with lasers available for regular fire and homing missiles for selected threats. Health, missile, and screen-clearing bomb power-ups appear during a stage. Each boss follows an individual movement pattern, so survival depends on learning rather than simply holding one position. Sixteen levels introduce tougher enemies and increasingly difficult bosses. Destroyed ships leave parts that function as scrap currency in the hangar, where the player's craft can be improved before another launch. Losing all usable health ends the current sortie before the stage is cleared.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Before you start
Combat moves between steering around enemy fire, maintaining laser pressure, choosing a moment for a homing missile or bomb, collecting dropped parts, and upgrading the ship between stages.
GETTING STARTED
How to play Rebel Wings
Keep the ship moving through open lanes while firing its regular laser at approaching enemies. Launch a homing missile against a difficult target rather than spending it on a clear straight shot.
Study the current boss's repeating motion, move away before its attack closes the lane, and collect useful power-ups. Afterward, spend recovered scrap on a ship part that addresses the next stage.
CONTROLS
Controls and device setup
Move with WASD or the arrow keys, press X or Shift for a homing missile, and use the mouse to select levels and hangar upgrades; mobile movement options are documented.

Tips for Rebel Wings
- Save a screen-clearing bomb for a formation that blocks several escape lanes.
- Follow the boss pattern for one cycle before committing valuable missiles.
- Choose a hangar upgrade that strengthens the weakness exposed by the last stage.
