ABOUT THE GAME

Set the Box game overview

Set the Box turns a simple drop into a balance problem. Each released box adds height and shifts the tower’s center of mass, while an off-center landing leaves a smaller, less stable surface for the next placement. Stack the boxes as high as possible without toppling the structure. Every successful box raises the structure and makes later balance more demanding. A badly positioned drop can topple the tower and end the attempt, especially when the previous layer has not finished wobbling.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Before you start

Players hold to prepare the box, align it above the existing stack, release the drop, watch how the new weight settles, and repeat on the remaining stable area.

GETTING STARTED

How to play Set the Box

Aim above the tower’s center of mass rather than the nearest visible edge. A small offset near the bottom becomes a large imbalance as more boxes are added.

Wait for visible movement to settle before preparing the next release. Slow down when the support narrows; consistent central drops matter more than placement speed.

Tips for Set the Box

  1. Aim each new box over the tower's center of mass, not its edge.
  2. Wait for visible wobble to settle before preparing the next drop.
  3. Accept a slightly lower placement pace when the supporting surface becomes narrow.
