ABOUT THE GAME
Sports MiniBattles game overview
Four different sports share a simple match rule: the first competitor to record five scores wins. Characters move, jump, and perform a smash action through intentionally loose 2D physics, so rebounds and body position can turn a routine play into an unexpected point. A solo competitor can face the computer, while two people can use separate controls on one keyboard. Changing sports alters the object and court behavior, but the short race to five remains consistent. Every conceded point reduces the margin available for another mistimed leap.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Before you start
Rounds begin quickly and stay focused on the current ball or sporting object. Each player adjusts horizontal position, jumps for height, and uses the smash input to direct a scoring attempt.
GETTING STARTED
How to play Sports MiniBattles
Move under the object before jumping so the character meets it from a controlled angle. Use the smash when contact can send play toward the opponent's scoring side.
Track the score as it approaches five and avoid abandoning the defensive half for a low-probability hit. Switch sports between matches to learn how each physics setup responds.
CONTROLS
Controls and device setup
Player one moves with A and D, jumps with W, and smashes using Space. Player two uses Left and Right, jumps with Up, and smashes with 0 or Enter.

Tips for Sports MiniBattles
- Stand slightly behind the landing point so forward momentum supports the return.
- Delay the smash until the object is aligned with the opponent's open side.
- At four points, favor a safe return over a risky attacking jump.
