ABOUT THE GAME
Sword and Jewel game overview
When the route appears, Sword And Jewel frames its matching boards as an expedition through an ancient civilization. Clearing gems is the action used to uncover and solve each puzzle. The route depends on trying to match and eliminate jewels to solve the puzzles of the ancient setting. Observe the current jewel arrangement, choose a useful match, and use the resulting space to set up the next elimination. Difficulty rises as stages advance. During subsequent play, later stages increase the matching difficulty and require closer observation. An unsolved board blocks progress, although no lives counter or timer limits the attempt.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Before you start
Measured observation matters more than quick tapping. Successful play comes from considering how one removal changes the rest of the jewel layout. With another result secured, later stages increase the matching difficulty and require closer observation.
GETTING STARTED
How to play Sword and Jewel
Scan for matches that affect the largest or most constrained part of the board. Select one only after checking what new alignment its removal may create.
When a stage becomes harder, stop repeating obvious moves and look for a sequence. A modest first elimination can prepare a stronger second one.
CONTROLS
Controls and device setup
Click a jewel with the mouse or tap it on a touchscreen to make the available match and remove gems.

Tips for Sword and Jewel
- Study the board edges where limited space often makes choices more important.
- Prefer matches that create another alignment instead of clearing isolated jewels.
- Pause after cascades because the new layout may reveal a better route.
