ABOUT THE GAME
Pick and Patch game overview
Each puzzle presents a character or object with one or more details missing from its picture. Several candidate patches sit outside the image, so color, outline, scale, and nearby features all help identify which fragment belongs in a particular blank. A correct placement restores part of the illustration and moves the puzzle toward completion. Later pictures demand closer observation because plausible pieces may share colors or shapes, turning a simple drag into a compact visual-memory and attention exercise.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Before you start
A session alternates between studying the damaged picture, comparing the available fragments, and testing a chosen patch against a gap. There is no timer or combat system documented.
GETTING STARTED
How to play Pick and Patch
Begin by examining the border and nearby artwork around the empty area. Match those clues against the offered pieces before committing to a drag, especially when two patches contain similar colors.
Place the selected fragment directly over its intended blank. Continue until every missing section has been restored and the completed picture advances the activity to another image.
CONTROLS
Controls and device setup
Click and drag patches with a mouse, or tap and drag them on a touchscreen.

Tips for Pick and Patch
- Compare the patch edges with the blank outline before checking interior colors.
- Use small background details to separate two otherwise similar-looking candidate pieces.
- Release a patch only after its orientation matches the surrounding illustration.
