ABOUT THE GAME
Meet the Birds game overview
Meet the Birds turns several habitats into an interactive introduction to bird species. Selecting a bird brings up information and plays its sound, linking the animal's appearance with something it can be recognized by ear. Other objects in the environment may also respond and encourage exploration. The experience is educational and self-paced. There is no quiz timer, opponent, or documented score requirement; progress means discovering another species, sound, or habitat fact. A child can revisit the same bird as often as needed before moving elsewhere in the scene.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Before you start
Look around the current habitat, choose a visible bird, listen to its call, review the information that appears, and continue selecting other animals or environmental objects.
GETTING STARTED
How to play Meet the Birds
Begin with a bird whose shape or color is easy to distinguish. Listen to the full sound before choosing another so the call remains connected to that species.
Read the displayed facts, then explore the surrounding habitat for another bird or interactive object. Return to earlier species when comparing their calls or features.
